This tincture is a powerful infusion of Garlic, Oregano and Ginger in 100 proof alcohol.
The bulb of the garlic plant contains good quantities of allicin which is a potent antibacterial agent. Research has found that garlic can bean effective ally against many forms of bacteria including Salmonella and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Garlic has even been considered for use against multi-drug resistant tuberculosis.
Ginger has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and other healthful properties due to gingerol and paradol, shogaols and zingerone. Studies showed that 10% ethanolic ginger extract was found to possess antimicrobial potential against a variety of pathogens.
Oregano is a great antibacterial agent. It has phytonutrients (thymol and carvacrol), which fight infections such as staph. It's loaded with antioxidants that help prevent cell damage, and it's an excellent source of fiber, vitamin K, manganese, iron, vitamin E, tryptophan and calcium.
Recommended dosage: 3 dropperfuls (1/2 tsp) twice a day as a dietary supplement. 3 to 4 times a day during active infection.
