White Pine needles are used for a variety of different ailments. They are packed with vitamin C perfect for tackling colds, coughs, bronchitis, laryngitis and chest congestion. 
It was traditionally used to prevent scurvy due to very high concentrations of vitamin C. It contains four to five times more than lemons or oranges. White Pine needles are a traditional remedy for the upper respiratory system, as an expectorant to get out phlegm when you have a cold.
It also contains Suramin which has been shown to be an inhibitor against a wide variety of viruses.

Cut into 1/4 inch pieces. Pour boiling water over tea and let steep for 10 minutes.
